THE CYBORG EYES OF RYAN CLARK April 6th at Cafe Dekcuf 221 Rideau Street Ottawa, Ontario "Death Disco has made a lot of friends over the span of it's existence because Ryan Clark makes sure bands are treated well and concert goers have fun. These friends don't put up with stupid shit. Ryan's eyes are in bad shape and he needs expensive fancy contacts and surgery to make sure he's able to continue to see. These contacts and surgery are stupid shit that we wont put up with. To fix this stupid shit, we're throwing a stacked show to raise money for Ryan's eyes. On Friday April 6th at Café Dekcuf we've got one hell of a show for you and everyone you know. We have: Promonium Jesters Nanochrist High Heels Lo Fi Adaptive Reaction With DJ Th'Elf spinning between the bands. This night is only 5 dollars. You'll never see another stacked show like this for such a deal. All the proceeds go to helping Ryan pay for his eyes. On Saturday April 7th at Swizzles, we have a special Death Disco. As always there is no cover for Death Disco but there will be a pay what you can donation to help support Ryan and your scene! Be there! Rock out! We received a lot of great entries but nothing that we felt really captured the title of the album. So ultimately we've decided to come up with our own cover concept and hire someone to do it. We have, however, chosen our 2nd and 3rd place winners, who will be included, back-to-back, on a card in the jewel case. That way, if anyone prefers the second or third place entries, they can simply slide the card over the booklet and voila: Instant new CD cover. Cool, huh? The 2nd and 3rd place winners also get: The entire Nanochrist discography including the new album. A Nanochrist tshirt. A congratulatory letter autographed by the band. A cheque/money order for $50. And bunch of Nanochrist stickers and buttons. And so, without further adieu, the winner are...
